The Winter brothers represent Britain's greatest surfing family.
All three brothers are excellent surfers and have had major competition successes and media acclaim throughout their surfing careers. They moved from London to Newquay, Cornwall in 1984 and all three began surfing almost right away - Dean 15, Steve 13 and Russell 8. Before long, their obvious talents were recognised by the local surfing fraternity and surfing professionals and they began to enter competitions. The media coverage followed quickly behind and they were hailed as 'Britain's Most Promising Young Surfers.'
